Getting Here
Here are some helpful ways to assist you when you are making plans to come to an event at the Leon’s Centre whether it be by car, bus, taxi or otherwise.
We are located at 1 The Tragically Hip Way, Kingston, Ontario.
Driving Directions:
We have four main gates:
Gate 1 – Place d’Armes – Premium Seating Ticket Holders
Gate 2 – Ontario Street
Gate 3 – At the Corner of The Tragically Hip Way and Ontario Street – Restaurant Entrance/ Media Entrance
Gate 4 – The Tragically Hip Way – Main Building Reception and Box Office
There is a designated area to drop people off on the south side of The Tragically Hip Way between Ontario and King Streets. As a courtesy to people who are disabled and seniors who need to use the drop-off area, able-bodied event-goers should plan to be dropped off close to the Centre rather than right at the lobby doors.
PARKING
Our venue uses a dispersed parking model which means that event-goers can park at existing public and private parking lots and on-the-street rather than at the Centre itself.
For drivers, there are approximately 2,500 parking spaces in lots within a 10 minute walk (approximately 600m) of the Centre. Of these, more than 1,500 spaces are in municipal lots.
Parking locations within the City
Also, more than 550 on-street parking spaces are located within 600m of the centre and will be free for use during evening and Sunday events. Parking is prohibited on The Tragically Hip Way between Ontario and King Streets, and on King Street between Place d’Armes and The Tragically Hip Way.
Additional Options
A taxi stop is located on Queen Street between Wellington and King Streets, additionally taxi phones are available inside Gate 4.
